Fisker looked like a good idea at the time, but with negative reviews and just one model released called the Fisker Ocean, the downfall came quickly.

When I first saw the Fisker Ocean, I thought it sure looked like a Range Rover Evoque. However, this was an EV with a solar panel roof or ( SolarSky) for recharging on the go. Can’t say it was a bad idea, especially thinking about how else can someone charge their EV on the go. The styling of the Fisker Ocean at first looked amazing with three types of models, Fisker Ocean Extreme, Fisker Ocean Ultra, and Fisker Ocean Sport all having their own special features from Luxury, All Wheel Drive, and affordability. The mile range for each model starting from Extreme is 360 Miles, Ultra 350 miles, and Sport 231 miles. Price ranged highest 61,499 to 38,999 for the lowest basic model which wasn’t bad but the reviews have been and are what played a huge factor in having Fisker file bankruptcy. For example, owners started complaining about the smart key fob and its lagging, then you have ” Finicky software ” or missing software features and bad customer service when called for help. At this time Fisker dealerships have a disclaimer showing ( AS-IS – No Warranty ) and we know that JPMorgan/Chase bank is financing models with risk and lawsuits already in play. The latest news has American Lease buying out Fisker after bankruptcy filed paying out more to have access to Fiskers Cloud Customer data that is essential in providing tech support for current customers. Unfortunately, Fisker looked promising I was hoping to see their pickup truck called Alaska with a price tag starting at 45,000 but that won’t be unless a bigger dealership buys out the Fisker brand.
